first of all: thanks for all the work on Salix. It makes me a happy lazy slacker.

now on topic:
I know I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to mention that in the 1.0 version of the update-notifier I really miss the overview lines stating something like the following :

1 upgraded, 0 reinstalled, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove, 9 not upgraded.
Need to get 2.0kB/1.2MB of archives.
After unpacking 816.0kB of additional disk space will be used.

It's a pity we're left in the dark on these things now.

You're not wrong, but it is impossible to know these for flatpaks. There is no mechanism in flatpak that provides accurate information for that.
