I've had some issues with Libreoffice. I was using the djemos' last version (7.6.2). I thought that the problems should be because it was an old version: a quick search showed me that the current one is 25.8.4. On Libreoffice's website there are packages .deb and .rpm. I've tried to convert these to txz (deb2txz and rpm2txz) but no success.
Then I realized that I could get the newest LO through sbopkg. I tried to download and install it, but another failure. The process was broken with this warning:
If libreoffice was build with java support then requires openjdk or openjre to run.
Try these packages build for slackware-15.0. Libreoffice-28.8.3
You will need also openjdk17
I boot with the SalixLive64 Xfce 15.0 live iso in vmware and there i installed above libreoffice 25.8.3 and openjdk17 packages. Libreoffice is running without errors.
I also installed libreoffice 7.6.2. It is running without errors.
Something is wrong with your system.
Try this. Uninstall all libreoffice packages. Then install libreoffice again. Also look in libreoffice dep file to see if a dependency package is missing.
The problem was into the .config files. I've deleted/renamed all the ~/.config/libreoffice and ~/skel/.config/libreoffice files, reinstalled libreoffice-25.8.3-x86_64-1alien.txz and all is apparently running well.
