I'm new to the forums (clearly).. not new to Slackware or Didier. He and I had a few interactions over the years, not super close, but he was always willing to communicate and open to new ideas. I know I'm far from being the only one to say that his loss was quite painful on a personal level.. so I say 'hello' to all with this recent loss in mind it's hard to be overly excited.
What I've been working on is called AnigmaOS/The Anigma Project. I'm a Slackware user since 2006, been tearing it apart since 2009. Salix has always interested me but I've always had my own sort of questions looking for different answers. The Anigma project is the creation of Slackware-compatible tooling. The System Builder itself is what I'm going to be using to build out my ISOs (both live and installer), it is fully open source, supports GPG, and creates a rather excessive amount of logging to prove what's being added, whats being removed, and why.
I'm also a father of two, a fullstack developer by trade with 10 years of history in fintech. I've spent the past decade building systems to federally compliant standards and I'm sick of doing it for other people when I can apply the same thing to Slackware and turn it into a system that makes others take a second glance at what Slackware brings to the table.. I hope. I'm here both to contribute and to learn as you guys have been on a very similar path for years and likely could help me skip a lot of overhead I might face.
I look forward to interacting with you.. and I hope that we can do what is needed as a community to help keep Didier's dream alive.
Greetings .. and condolences!

Thank you Anigma and welcome!
You tools seem interesting, especially the system builder. I will definitely be taking a look at them. I'm adding some links here, since you aren't able to do so yet as a new member.

Re: Greetings .. and condolences!
I appreciate that!
I did just put up a new release today which should be compatible with 15.0 or -current based (64bit) systems.
Look forward to feedback. Its worth noting that the incorporation of patching logic may have made template creation from the .lst files .."wonky". If anyone has problems with it let me know.
