Hello everybody, thanks to FredG doing a pretty good job of promoting Salix, I checked it out and am about to go for a harddrive install. Still not sure whether to put it on my 32bit or my 64bit laptop.
Have to say Salix is very responsive, even in Vbox with only 512Mb RAM allocated and a Sis (non 3D graphics card).
I also run Backtrack3 (slackware 11) but i'm not a Kde fan so I am going to look into installing the pentest tools on Salix, and see if I can use Salix as a replacement net-work distro.
I currently run Crunchbang Statler as my main distro, with both Xfce and OpenBox. After being a Fluxbox user for a long time, I really took to OpenBox, so that will also be another addition to Salix for me.
