X11 mouse themes

Post by thenktor »

I've read the discussion about the X11 mouse theme in the chatroom. To be honest: Why do you want to use a white cursor theme? X11 uses black cursors by default since ages and I think we should go for it.
My suggestion is http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ ... tent=73135 which I've used before switching to KDE.

PS: The KDE4 default theme is even better 8-)

Because white is prettier!

What really matters is where you are going, not where you come from.

I think that white matches the default theme colours better. But I really don't have an artistic eye.

I don't care about this. Most of the time I change the mouse theme when I change my GTK theme so, I really don't care about the default.
And black or white, both are easily readable, so it's ok as long as you don't make ping cursor default.

My girlfriend said the black obsidian cursors are nicer. I trust her judgment with these matters so we'll go with that. :D
