Post by Duncan_Idaho »

the tittle says it all,
I was wondering why decibel wasn't available on the x86_64 repo but it is available on the i486 repo :|
so could you please provide a x86_64 package of my favorite music player?

you're right, I guess I was checking the PACKAGES.txt from the repos, so I guess I was checking the slackware one instead of the salix one
I'm sorry for my mistake :P

Using slapt-get/gslapt when searching for a package makes it a lot easier. ;)

yes I know, but in this particular case the computer I use with slaix current is 32bits, and the computer with salix64 is using stable :P

speaking of which, is there an advantage in using a 64bits OS over a 32bits OS? (both my computer and my laptop are AMD64)
