Blueman applet 1.21

Post by zAchAry »

I've installed Blueman and of course bluez and when I'm clicking the Blueman systray icon a message pops up:
Connection to BlueZ failed

Bluez daemon is not running, blueman-manager cannot continue.
Any quick answer?

You are free to keep them all errors for your own. Linux is the best game I ever played.

There is a service tool in your "System" menu.

Oh, ok.
Bluetooth Turned Off

Bluetooth needs to be turned on for the device manager to function

Code: Select all

Quit | Enable Bluetooth
...trying now...

I can grasp a list of cellphones (mobile phones, if you will) but what I got here is a darned, damned and doomed iPhone which can be used for cellular HIGH COST and frivolous connection to the interwebz... so I'll wait for some person on planet earth with a bluetooth device with a file transferring ability to dedicate the device + some of her/his time :)

a. I can grasp a list of bluetooth devices to connect with, as already mentioned.
b. I can browse other devices, with Thunar, and I'm also able to manage bluetooth (OBEX) connections with Gigolo (tested earlier today).
c. I can download files from a device.
d. so far, I CAN'T SEND files. (I'll confirm this issue later, because ,maybe, I did something wrong.

e. I did not checked if other devices can send files to me, by a request that's coming from the other device.
