Well,
i see your point. i have similar thing and i also have to save pdf file and later open application and search to view the file. kind of inconvenience
on my Salix 13.1.1, my list on Edit>preference is

maito
Podcast
Video Podcast
Web Feed
Webcal
look like have to make some changes to help on productivity.
