Small problems on new 13.1.1 lxde livecd install.

You're probably getting confused somewhere with the user deleting/creating. So, yes, it will probably be simpler if you did that.

I deleted user including /user/home. I then added user back but had the same results. I was looking around in the hidden files in the home folder and found a couple of error messages. They said there were files in /tmp that were not the same owner as the user. So I have concluded the best thing was to reinstall salix. I belive that if I did not reinstall I would have come across more problems down the road.

Upon reinstalling all is well and things are working as they should. I did not mind installing again as I look at it as a learning experience. Also it was my mistake for not cleaning out my home folder prior to the install.

I would like to that everyone for your help. This is a very cool install of Slackware. You have made it very speical. Think I will stick around a while and see where this takes me.
