for me it works sometimes, and for the ones it doesn't it's most likely because the image/graph was too small to begin :|

Similiar situation with Postscript files (.ps). They belong to GIMP, too - evince would be better choice here again.

OK, got it. I know how to fix this, but to fix this, new xfce iso releases are required and are not actually planned until 13.2.

To fix it for your user, just right click on a pdf/ps file, select properties and change the "Open with" application.

Oh, if you want to fix it for all users, you can create a /usr/share/applications/defaults.list file with the following in it:

Code: Select all

[Default Applications] 
application/pdf=evince.desktop
application/postscript=evince.desktop
that should work, unless it is overridden by user preferences.
