No! Still no change! I have changed my password to something without any characters that need escaping, now I just have the '@' and the dot in the domain part. I still get the 'couldn't resolve proxy name' error. On internet explorer (BAH), when it shows me the login window to authenticate to the proxy I enter as user 'user@domain.pt' and a plain password. In Firefox I don't need the '@domain.pt' part. In Debian I just enter:
