my bad ... a. LOl took out the dot out and this is what i got

So, you installed the non-smp kernel. You need the smp kernel, unless you have a Pentium 1 or 486 CPU, which I'm guessing you don't. I'm very interested on how you managed to do that, since you really should go out of your way and select the non-smp kernel specifically to get it installed.

All i did was follow the wiki to get the kernel... idk what happened.. um

Assuming that is the right file you downloaded (my thought was it might not have been, but the real problem seems to have been identified now) ... I leave you in the capable hands of the Salix Wizards. Good luck!

I got no clue....
Like as I said,,, I just followed the wiki to installing the ati drivers,,, and ended up in this mess

Heya, thenkor. So what do I do to solve this ? Try to include commands to fix this if possible,,, Im still a linux newbie
