I install Gtkam and my old digital camera works With a bit o time I could try to seek information to make work in XFCE, with Gthumb or Shotwell.

In the Salix OS 13.1 with gThumb 2.10.12 - OK, but in the Salix OS 13.37 with gThumb 2.12.2 import photos does not work. To fix it, compile the gThumb 2.10.12 from here (x86) or here (x86-64).
