Firefox update notice

I know it's not fixed, I saw it too. And it's probably not fixed in 17
either. Mozilla has been constantly changing settings locations and
their documentation is not up to date, so I have no idea how to actually
fix it. If anyone does, go ahead and tell me how.

I have firefox 16.0.2 and i did not take any update notice. I run kde-4.8.5
Only when i click on Help-> About firefox then says there is a new firefox version.
