Warning: Screensaver is old (SOLVED)

I really feel I should post something about this. The message was shown because at some point, the xscreensaver developer decided it was a good idea to implement a time bomb in his software. That has nothing to do with security and nothing to do with new versions. The message was programmed to be displayed one year after that specific version of xscreensaver was released. Note that the message would have been displayed even if there was no new version of xscreensaver to upgrade to! I will let you figure out just how brain dead that is. Makes one wonder about all those claims in the xscreensaver homepage. The fix was simply to remove the time bomb.

Latest updated Xscreensaver package will be available via Gslapt or slapt-get upgrade within the next day,

And the subscreensavers (hacks) are noticeably even cooler than before.
