YES! Bluetooth works after upgrading the kernel and its firmware and modules from http://people.salixos.org/gapan/kernel-4.1.4/ . I used '\installpkg *' command without previously removing installed kernel/firmware/modules. I then used update-grub and rebooted. These packages will not be altered by 'spi -U' command since they are held back, along with glibc.

Surprisingly, "hcitool scan" command still does not find the device.
