That's not a bad idea at all. That debian page can be copied almost verbatim. And then a few Salix-specific stuff added.

Well, I love my Super-"Salix"-Box. I have 14.2 64 bid installed on another partition
and I must say I am not enthusiastic about it at all. It violates in my oppinion the basic
concept of Linux, --Freedom of Choice. For example among other things I don't like
to be told that there is not more root.

Hi, Atip,
I might be misunderstanding your comment, but it is possible to enable the root user in Salix 14.1 and 14.2. The Wiki has instructions:
https://docs.salixos.org/wiki/How_to_en ... _root_user
[Salix Wiki]. "
How to enable the root user."
A while back, gapan wrote a technical explanation of why the change to sudo as a default was necessary:
http://preview.tinyurl.com/hcsxvjs
The Salix Blog. "
The gksu problem." 13 Nov. 2013.
HTH. I apologize if I've misinterpreted your meaning ...

Thanks Gaucho!
I am aware of enabling root and barely understand
http://preview.tinyurl.com/hcsxvjs.
In my Super-"Salix"-Box sudo works like ever before which I prefer.

You're welcome, Atip. Although gapan's blog post is well written, it went completely over my head also. It's similar to when I first tried to learn some vim:
I remember the blog post being mentioned in the forum a few years ago, and made a mental note of it because new users here will sometimes ask why Salix changed to using sudo as a default.
