Hi Salix friends,

I think you can stop the bouncing cursor with

alt+f2
type : launch feedback

and then choose to have : busy cursor : no busy cursor

and then the annoying cursor is gone

Marcell, you have solved the problem!!!! I have never known that set of features existed in KDE. This has bugged me for 3 years ( same behaviour in KDE 3.5, in SlamD64 12, the OS I have been running since it came out). This trick worked even in SlamD 64 also. I owe you a beer, thanks very much.

But this will disable launch feedback for every app? You can find launch feedback settings in system-settings, too ;)
