You probably need to create locale packages, like we do with openoffice.

Probably only extra deps from alienbob are listed there, that are not included in the Slackware repo.

Oh, it is critical to install XULRunner in a special (newer) version.
It is used in other applications, for instance Miro and I detected problems with an old version of XULRunner there.

What do you mean? I've only installed the LibreOffice package from AlienBob and it works fine. I did not install his Xulrunner package.
