Yes, I've thought about making it the default with the new release. What do others think?

I've been using it for ages and got used to it. I no longer mind the things that bothred me initially. I think it's a good design, I say: go for it!

The current theme works best in Opera mini on my Blackberry so I'd be sad to see it go.

+1 for making the new forum theme the default forum theme.

Very good. The links and the code frames look wonderful!
I like the former header, though.
