There's something I really like about this name...
But besides that, I also really like "Vodkos", what thenktor said.

A name is really important & will stick forever. So we should probably settle for the best not just for the good enough.
So far, I have been straining my brain but I found nothing (yet) that I felt was good enough even to suggest.
However there is no hurry to decide on something that can only be decided once.
With time, as the project departs from virtuality & becomes more & more concrete, more appropriate ideas for a name will probably come naturally and plentifully to us. At that time we can make a list of the names that we feel are the best suited & have a vote to isolate the winner.

SofaRide (linux)
so we can have variations like...
Red sofa
Green sofa
or...
Net sofa
Ratpoison sofa
Office sofa
Studio sofa
and so on.
and in a way, it's connected to Slack-ware, no?
and i think the name is fairly easy to remember.

Ratpoison could have a script in /etc/rc.d that destroys the user's computer on bootup. Where does that name come from?

I search, I search and it's very difficult.
I come with this one : SimpleOS
Yeah I know you said not to use "OS". But I feel it easy to spell and write, and all domains are availables.

I like it very much & it is amazing that its domains are still free.
But google tells me it is a pocket pc system...
Unless it is some defunct project...

What about:
AndSweet -> from "Keep It Short and Sweet". This convey the idea, that not only our system is based on the KISS principle, but it is also not forgetting to be 'sweet' to the newbies.
