It certainly is:
Code: Select all
# slapt-get --search gnucash
gnucash-2.2.9-i486-1gv [inst=no]: gnucash - personal and small-business financial-accounting software
What does your /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc look like?

My slapt-getrc:
It points to the salixos.org server, but gnucash is not found
Code: Select all
# Working directory for local storage/cache.
WORKINGDIR=/var/slapt-get
# Exclude package names and expressions.
# To exclude pre and beta packages, add this to the exclude:
# [0-9\_\.\-]{1}pre[0-9\-\.\-]{1}
EXCLUDE=^aaa_elflibs,^aaa_base,^devs,^glibc-.*,^kernel-.*,^udev,^rootuser-settings,^zzz-settings,.*-[0-9]+dl$,x86_64

Edit: I added a salix mirror and that helped. I thought I should only add a dependency supported mirror. tnx for helping out though!

Why do you have the salix repository commented out? Same for the slackware extra repository... You know with slapt-get you can (and you should) have multiple repositories enabled at all times. Update slapt-get to the latest version, run dotnew and accept the new slapt-getrc file.

Hey Gapan,
I updated slapt-get and ran dotnew, but it did not do anything. So no new slaptgetrc file. After that I upgraded all packages, but dotnew did not do anything again.
So I still have the same slaptgetrc file. Can you print the part about the servers in a message so I can manually put it in?
Tnx

Strange... In any case you should have these enabled:
Code: Select all
SOURCE=http://salix.enialis.net/i486/slackware-13.0/
SOURCE=http://salix.enialis.net/i486/slackware-13.0/extra/
SOURCE=http://salix.enialis.net/i486/13.0/:PREFERRED
