package installation problem

After 5 years I am experiencing the same problem. What is that ? Is there no solution? Again missing md5sum trouble.

Do you realize that your post is useless as it is? What are you trying to do? If it was a problem 5 years ago and it is now again, how did you fix it last time? If you provide no information, you'll get no help.

Since 5 years I try in vain to solve this problem-and at each Salix version I experience this problem. After the installation I want Salix by gslapt install a package, but there is again same message "Missing MD checcksum%, override with - no-md5." and the package is not installed. After that it does not remain me, I uninstall Salix from my computer. The last thing I have Salix LiveCD 14.1 installed and re-experienced the same problem.

Did it occur to you that this might not be a problem with salix, but with your own setup instead? It's probably your network connection that is doing this. I asked you before as I can see now, but I got no answer: are you behind a proxy?

I am not behind a proxy. I think this is not connection-problem. Because I kann install some packages but not all packages.

Thank You for your Help. I have solved this Problem now. If I use as system language Turkish, it immediately creates this trouble. In English language this trouble does not arise.

Guestion : to install packages I'll never use so as Turkish-language system ? In my opinion, this error must necessarily be eliminated.

That doesn't make any sense... The problem should be somewhere with your network connection. Try using another mirror.

Run

and choose a mirror, the one in Greece, or the one in Ukraine should be fast for you.
