Thanks very much, my problem is resolved, I really did more than i described here.
I settings locale in my .basrc with
Code: Select all
LANG=en_US.utf8
LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.utf8
missing export, this cause Simple as default.

Mate, I found mate is more efficient for me.
I use xfce4 last year, I remember the same input method issue occur in that version.

Salix is the best Slackware original distribution, I say this because I tried all seven slackware base distribution.
Just one drawback, Salix seem like cut more component about I18n or Font or Somethings about Chinese Input.
I have test in three distribution, all no exist current input method problem, except Salix, if Salix can fix this, It will the great !!

Sorry for find up this very old post.
I just want to every one know, the problem which confuse me in Salix 14.1 is gone.
I have try this several days, emacs worked very well with FCITX.

Delighted to hear that! These problems can be very recalcitrant.
Did you have to do anything to make it work, or did it just work out of the box?
This may be helpful for other users to know.

Seem like just work out of box, I am not very sure about this though, because after
this thread is post, I use many distribution, openSUSE, Ubuntu, Mint, Slackware 14.2,
It is a very long time since this post, And when heard about Salixis is updated, I tried it again.
I read this post topic again just now, in fact, the problem which describe in topic is still
exist in Salix/14.2 and Slackwware/14.2, But that not a big deal for me.
But, the issue which exist in Salix 14.1, But never exist in Slackware 14.1 is gone.

I think maybe some Salix bug is fixed in new version, Slackware bug not fix. (this bug is not exist
in Ubuntu and SUSE), but that not a big deal for me, I only start a emacs daemon in almost all
case after all.
