I suspect that something associated with the most recent update has partially broken GnuCash 4.10 [installed from the standard Salix 15.0 repo via Gslapt]. It was working fine before I updated last night.
Although the program still works normally regarding data entry, financial calculation and saving files, it is behaving oddly with respect to internal theming and "remembering" / accepting settings in the Preferences.
When it's first started from the menu (Salix > Office > GnuCash), the program now opens an Unsaved Book window rather than opening the most recently used .gnucash file (as it did before the update):
After I manually open my .gnucash file, the register / ledger no longer uses the program's built-in color theme, nor does it display the usual horizontal and vertical lines (as shown below):
I tried several times to change the preferences (Edit > Preferences > Register > Graphics). However, selecting / ticking the three settings I want (viz., "Use built-in color theme", "Draw horizontal lines" and "Draw vertical lines") has no effect. I don't know why ...
I changed my theme to Adwaita-dark but that did not make any difference. I also removed GnuCash via Gslapt, then reinstalled it; however, this problem persists.
I'm not intending to cause you further headaches, gapan, but thought I should mention it since you requested that we report problems.
