problem with apache and php

Hi.. I am new Salix user. previous i use more distrios since 1998 year /slackware,zenwalk,suse/ . now i use 2 days salix. i want know how i make function a apache+php+Cacti (http://www.cacti.net/)... i have install all of packages
httpd,php,mysql,rrdtool,lm_sensors
http is function as localhost:// but when i do localhost://mashine where are php pages then i see a preview a files..
i thinks somethinks is with php and apache conection..
sorry for my not very nice english..
pls. help..
