I'm just an average user. I have 2 older boxes running WinXP and for a long time i've tried Ubuntu, mint, PC-BSD, OpenSuse and a lot of derivatives. I just installed Salix LXDE. I set up my Samsung printer in 3 minutes with Splix, used VLC for a sky.fm radio, and wondered at the speed of Firefox and Opera.

Thank you for finally making a simple user happy with this distro. I am so appreciative.
