Am afraid the package you provide (slapt-get --install opera) contains bugs.

A normal user can not run it. Furthermore it creates an user 'thornsten' and even the directory '/home/thorsten'.

Kindly have a look at it.

ouch... 32 bit or 64 bit?

EDIT: There is an error in the 32 bit /usr/bin/opera start script. Have a look and you'll see ;) The 64 bit package is fine. Just remove the /home/thorsten folder again. There was no user created. Updated package is available soon.

Thanks for the report. It works fine here in Openbox automatic menus, so I did not notice that. But indeed the dektop file is wrong. I'll fix that tomorrow.

Packages updated. I hope they are finally OK after rebuilding them about 1000 times... So please test them!

Hi,
I am still on Salix 13.0 - and there is no Opera 10.61 at all...
Do I need 13.1.x for the newest stuff?
