[SOLVED]Printer compatibility.

I am about to purchase a new printer and was wondering if the HP Deskjet D1660 will work in Salix. Does anyone have experience with this printer in Salix or linux in general?

Here's a list of printers supported by hplip, which contains the drivers set for HP printers and scanners, and i am pretty sure is already installed in salix.

If your printer's listed there, you should have no trouble.
Personally, i have tried a couple of hp printer/scanners and they all worked instantly, no config was needed.
