Connecting/Mounting iPhone 3GS

I've tested today the abilities of Blueman along with the application named Gigolo and the networking abilities of Gigolo with SMB, which are, pretty much, great.

Side Note with no important information: Few days ago, I was trying to connect/mount my iPhone 3GS (I am NOT proud of it, and I am really ashamed of it) via USB, of course, and to get the content with the file manager Thunar (just as I used to do with the file manager Nautilus, some time ago) and I wondered for awhile why libgpod is installed with the FULL system installation.

Anyway, after testing the networking abilities of Blueman and SMB with Gigolo, I was trying, once again, to mount my iPhone 3GS

Code: Select all

Apple, Inc. iPhone 3GS
and I couldn't connect it.
Connecting to "Apple, Inc. iPhone 3GS" failed.

DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
What should I do? (Yes, I know, I can use VBox)

Edit:
1) You can use Ubuntu 10.04 (and above) with VirtualBox
2) You can use iFuse and the Command-line: http://www.salixos.org/forum/viewtopic. ... 701#p10701
