I'm interested in this project because of many reasons, and one of them, the #1 FIRST on my list is OUR PRIVACY RIGHTS!
Right now, currently, we have a very strange phenomenon, that many people tend to use centralized Web Services to store all kinds of data and even ALL of their data, which may very well be a big danger, because after someone (a government, maybe?) will hack a way to the database of one user, it (he/she) will be able to get a "portrait" of the victim in an accuracy of 99.999...999%
We need projects of this kind, projects like Chipmark, SiteBar and some few others, but unfortunately, it is not enough (not many features)
Maybe, the real admins of this project are doing it deliberately, they maybe want to end this project forever, maybe they're acting in a very unorganized way, so it won't look like as if they didn't intend on finish this project.
Why? Bribe, and it could very well be!
See the "search engine" market, how many do we have? (less than 5 usable) Why? Corruption.
And how much privacy one can have? Almost NONE.

Why does Mozilla make use SO MUCH use of Javascript instead of CSS (in places where most of the features can be achieved with CSS) Why?
So it'll be easier for the web-admins to gather and track the behavior of the surfers, because you can detect the cursor places with Javascript.
At the very beginning the Mozilla Organization wanted to use Javascript as less as possible, and almost at any cost (but look what's going on now///)
Using your own Data Management tools on your independent server is NOT in accord to big business companies.
Just as using Jabber to communicate with a Jabber-Client only to communicate with all other proprietary networks.
You may use Independent (not centralized & non-big business company) Jabber Server OR install your own server (which is less than ~20 MB upload a day, meaning that you just need a domain address and you're set) with Getaways to AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo!, MySpace etc. to teach your server to communicate with other platforms.
And all you have is a anonymous Jabber account that is hard to track by big-government or by big-business
