thumbnailer.py gets stuck with incomplete videos (Whaaw!)

The python script thumbnailer.py (located at: file:///usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/whaawmp/thumbnailer.py) is freezing (~30 MB RAM) when it is trying to draw a preview of an incomplete video file, which results to not draw previews for other videos.
P/s: for some strange reason it is trying to draw thumbnails for audios.
Please remove that script until it will be solved OR help to fix that script at the Whaaw! - Mailing Lists
