Salix Forums

A friend of mine asked me that there was no so much activity in our forums and explained that it was because Salix is not popular and had not many users.

I told him that he was wrong. I don't visit the forums that often because Salis is so stable that it is very rare when something brakes. So I don't have to visit the forums to ask questions. I visit the forums once in a while to see if I can answer any of the other members questions.

What about you? Just wondering...

More or less same here. All runs well and 1 or 2 visits per day to be up-to-date with actual development or problems is sufficient.

At least 5-10 visits every day

EDIT: And what are many users? Furthermore IMHO it's better to have few reasonable questions and useful answers than having loads of useless stuff.

I have zero problems with Salix on eeepc. Works very VERY well.
In fact, the stability of Salix is a killer feature for DragonFlyBSD installation on that little machine.
Those are 2 systems that I use (a part form mac os on a macbook & lately android on my phone)

I visit forum few times a day, just to "feel" the community.

Same for me. Depends if I have time at work or not to visit the forum to be kept informed or to answer some questions (if I know the answer).
