Well, that's about it.

I can print from the XFCE print dialog without problems, but the XFCE printer manager doesn't show any of my printers (I have a cups-pdf and a HP PSC 1500). I remember that it used to show my printer jobs, etc in 4.4.3.

Is it yet another bug?

I have an Epson PX710W that I setup using CUPS and I have the 'Xfce 4 Printing System Settings' set to CUPS. The printer appears in the 'Xfce 4 Print Dialogue' and other applications but it doesn't appear in the 'Xfce 4 Print Manager'.

That said, this is the first time I've ever started the print manager so it can't be that important .
