Impressed

Hi,
Yesterday, I spent the day testing different versions of KDE distros, hoping to find the "right one". I tested pretty much all the major Linux distros; Fedora, Kubuntu, Mint, OpenSuse, along with Chakra and Mepis. I was hoping to find a distro with a rolling release but ran into some issues with Mepis and Chakra that I didn't want to deal with now.
So, I decided on one of the majors when I recalled looking at Salix breifly about a year ago, an Xfce version. I recalled being impressed and having made a mental note to check in again, should I ever be looking for a change.
Well to make a long story short, kinda, I was really impressed with Salix, great installer, no hardware issues, lean and fast, good software package, very professional, top notch. So, I would like to tip my hat to the team, your hard work and effort certainly show.
I've got Salix installed, ordered a copy of the Slackware manual and I'm looking forward to spending many care-free computing hours with Salix.
Many Thanks!
Now, about that rolling release thing ??
