hey i installed Salix about 10mins ago, installed the KDE version and im just amazed at how fast & lightweight it is !!!!

Installed on my systems in 5mins, then got nvidia driver installed without a single hiccup either

i've used Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSuse, Linux Mint, Sabayon, Debian, Kubuntu etc and they havent given me such a gd impression as what Salix has.

Came across Salix, when i was looking for a new distro 2 try, was going to try Slackware but then i saw Salix, which was exactly what i needed (more user-friendly)

I've installed Salix over my ubuntu 10.10 so if i get all the apps i need installed and running on Salix then i will probaly use it as my main OS from now on alongside my Windows 7

So just want 2 say hi & thanks 2 everyone involved with creating or being apart of the OS

btw i usually post screenshots of my desktops on linux mint forum & ubuntu forum, so once i get salix customised il definitely be showing it off

Glad to wellcome another user of Salix OS. I've been using this distro for over a year. It's simple, fast and responsive. Have fun!
