HOWTO - Salix GSB

While Salix GNOME is still not available, there's another way to get a GNOME desktop in Salix:
1 - install Salix 'core'
2 - add GSB repository as described here
3 - get a Slackware 13.1 DVD and install *all* packages in /x
4 - # slapt-get --update
5 - # slapt-get --upgrade
6 - # slapt-get -i gsb-desktop
7 - # slapt-get -i compiz
8 - # slapt-get -i salixtools-gtk
9 - change default runlevel to '4' in /etc/inittab
10 - reboot and... pray
OR
1 - install Salix fluxbox 'basic'
2 - add GSB repository as described here
3 - # slapt-get --update
4 - # slapt-get --upgrade
5 - # slapt-get -i gsb-desktop
6 - # slapt-get -i compiz
7 - $ xwmconfig
8 - reboot and... pray
