Psi+ is the development branch of Psi (the preferred jabber client of your choice).
It holds a lot of patches that would be suggested to be included in official Psi.

Here are the instructions to build and install Psi+ on Linux.
Details
Getting the build script

$ wget http://psi-dev.googlecode.com/svn/trunk ... sibuild.sh
$ chmod a+x psibuild.sh

Building

$ ./psibuild.sh

Follow instructions from the script when prompted
3,2,1 Start!!!

$ psi

Cool, there are close buttons on the tabs like in one of my feature requests and the gerneral design seems to be improved. I should try this one...

There is a great Russian Psi+ community at a Jabber/XMPP channel xmpp:psi-dev@conference.jabber.ru?join they are very willing to help and also chat in English.
