I'm curious what happens with the package repos when a new release comes out. Say, hypothetically, Slackware 14.0 comes out and shortly after there is corresponding Salix release. Will there be a period of time that 13.1 repositories and 14.0 repositories for salix both exist? Will 13.1 continue to be supported longer term? I know slackware continues to have security updates for older releases, so it got me to wondering what the plan for salix is.

Salix releases are supported as long as slackware releases are.
