Upgrading 13.1 to 13.37?

Was wondering if there are any potential issues when upgrading Salix 13.1 to 13.37?
I removed aaa-elflibs, etc from the blocked packages and am upgrading everything via Gslapt using the 13.37 repo.

Hopefully everything will go well:)

Why not wait until the actual release, which can only be a day or two off? You never know, it might avoid problems. Indeed, a few days beyond that really constitute "gamma testing", with a bigger uptake than beta.

I hope all goes well, anyway!

X.Org X Server 1.7.7
In 13.37 the xorg server version is 1.9.5. So either you did something wrong or your upgrade did not finish.

Yes, you are right!
But, I did the test upgrad across 3 different 13.1 Salix installs and it did not upgrade Xorg in any of them for some reason...?

Everything else though seems OK and works:)
Thanks everyone, Thenktor, mimosa, laprjns!

I did not have problems on any upgrades so I cannot tell what happened. Are you using some third party repos that may cause this?

uh, yeah I do have slackpkg and sbopkg installed...
dont know if that would be it?

I am trying to upgrade my PocketWriter Salix 13.1.2 to 13.37
The new PocketWriter uses 2.6.38.5 kernel and xz compression (.xzm)
http://multidistro.com/

so, sooner or later I gotta upgrade to 13.37....:)
