If yes, just test the Gnome packages compiled by lmello a long time ago.

And check:
Gnome core packages 1, 2 and 3

Register on Sourceforge to tell the packager about any bugs.
You can also write here anything else.

(a little tip to clean your system after testing: use twapake )

I was going to get involved with this but got distracted with other things and although a Salix Gnome edition would be awesome I don't have the time to devote to it right now or in the foreseeable future. Sorry.
