I have installed the xfce version of salix 13.37, and I want to install lxde on top of xfce, I have followed the wiki on how to install lxde desktop, but slap-get tells me that lxde-common is not available, so that means I must wait for the lxde version and reinstall salix?, any help will be very appreciated.

There are no lxde packages for 13.37 (yet?). So, you can't install it. You might want to try building the packages with slapt-src/sourcery if you want to. Make sure you read the corresponding README files if you do.
