Code: Select all

echo "Hello World"
Hello World
Well now is the time to say thanks...THANKS!

I have finally, after more than one year, found my distro of choice. So here comes the history.
I dabbled into the world of linux about 4 years ago now. Tired of the Winsucks epidemic, and constant suckery that is inevitable in that world. So I started with, who guessed, Ubuntu. Not bad for a first distro, and new to linux. Well as things went forward, and no time to indulge further I was reluctant to install Winsucks back onto the laptop. But not a year later I made the commitment to get back into Linux. So once again I chose Ubuntu. Then I tried Linux Mint, slightly better than Ubuntu IMHO. So I changed All my computers to Linux Mint and even a few family members and friends, actually gave them the LMDE version so they can benefit from the rolling distro since none of them are computer anything but users. So late last year, after getting bored and wanting more control..., I decided to changed things up. I went on the quest and went all crazy, I started my LFS project. WOW that was intense for me, since the only knowledge of computers I taught myself. Well got that going but I wanted to do things differently. So I tried Gentoo, Arch, and a few others, then I stumbled onto Slackware. Now my world changed, I liked what I saw. So I went about doing what I can, then after some time I found Salix OS. So now I have LXDE 13.1.2 on my desktop (Older AMD Compaq) and Salix64 Fluxbox 13.37 beta multilib on my laptop. Things couldn't be better. Right now I am working on getting conky the way I want, then who knows what I will break next.

I am Linux for life - and thanks again to everyone who has made Linux be what it is, and hopefully someday I can help contribute back.
