Hi JRD,

after integrating my 2.6.30.9 kernel I have succeeded in booting alpha2 from usb-cdrom.

During boot there are sed-errors due to missing /usr/sbin/keyboardconfig (fixed by symlinking to keyboardsetup) and grep-errors due to missing /etc/hwclock.

Just a little message to let you know that I succeed to boot the last Salix live development release on an USB stick with the Grub2 menu.
