slapt-src doesn't work with GSB in 13.1

When I give any command to slapt-src, even -h:

Code: Select all

slapt-src: symbol lookup error: slapt-src: undefined symbol: slapt_init_list
My guess is this is because I just installed Gnome, and it broke something. I'm not going to keep GSB anyway.

But I thought I'd report it in case anyone else has seen this, in which case maybe it's not GSB that's at fault.

Yep. You most probably did. Just a guess: you replaced the salix slapt-get with gsb's one.

Yes. I think I started with their instructions rather than the Salix wiki ones, and installing their slapt-get is one of the steps. They seem to assume you won't have it already, which must make sense for Slackware proper.

Still, it's very nice to look at. I'd forgotten the pleasures of Gnome. It runs rather slow on my hardware, and in any case, all that clicking now seems far too much like hard work. ;)
