I`m currently testing Xfce4.8 on Fedora 15 and I cannot move files to trash from ntfs partition mounted with ntfs-3g. Thunar is unable to find the trash (even nautilus is able only to delete permanently).

Does Salix implement any special trick as in Salix trash works as expected?

No. This is probably a bug with fedora.
