Installed gpodder, however, cannot access ipod since python-gpod missing.
It is not not in the repos.
Found it with sourcery. Installation aborts immediately with no details given why.

Installed gtkpod and it is working.

Why is gpodder incomplete in the repos?

It's not incomplete. For people that don't have an ipod is completely functional.

Anyway, refresh the slackbuild cache and try again. If there are more errors, edit the slackbuild sources and replace the slackware.org.uk slackbuild mirror we have with the url of the original slackbuilds.org site: ftp://slackbuilds.org/13.37/
It seems the slackware.org.uk site has some downtime because they are replacing a harddrive.

Thanks. Put in the suggested URL and sourcery installed python-gpod, however, gpodder
can still not find ipod.
Error message: Cannot sync to iPod, Please install python-gpod and restart gPodder.

I did that, I rebooted, I removed gpodder and reinstalled still nothing doing. Same error message.

Sorry, no idea. I don't have an ipod (actually I do, but I'm using rockbox on it), so I cannot test if it works or not. Maybe you should talk about it with the gpodder developers.
