Willowstown

I began this journey 2 1/2 years ago chasing a shape-shifting jackalope, found myself wandering
through a parched pclos land and landed in a spartan place called sidux. There I sojourned, learning
of binary things. (This was appropriate since we all live in time and space and where pairs of opposites
seem to reign supreme.) Eventually, I drifted off into the clouds with a damsel named peppermint. She
was a sweet one, and very lively. Then my wandering eye fell on a group of comely slackers.
Absolute, Slax and another named something like Willow kept me busy and satisfied for a while. The
latter won my heart for a season (or so I thought) but proved a tad trying at that phase of my life.
So, I came to reside at antiX.
A workaday routine set in there, broken only occassionally by a long weekend with the willowy one
(she still had a piece o my heart). I was content. Yes, I was -- until I wanted to expand my
horizons in a wireless direction.
I remembered then that a man with a name like a gladiator helped me once in the place where Willow
lived. I decided to go there for a visit. Once there, I found more than I expected. Things change,
after all.
Sidux changed its name because a bunch of citizens became discontent. Salix (that was her proper name,
I came to know) became easier to live with and more attractive than I remebered. She had matured, and so
had I. "I'll base myself in Willowstown!" I thought.
