dual boot problem

I installed Salix xfce on the same drive as Windows 7. I can get Salix to boot and run but if I select Windows 7 it says can't find mbr and it then reboots after I press the enter key. How can I get Windows 7 to boot?

What exactly do you mean by "same drive"? Could it be that you overwrote windows with salix? Did you autoinstall lilo or did you select the "advanced" installation mode? Provide the contents of /etc/lilo.conf and the output of

(as root). What is each partition supposed to have?

You could also try lilosetup from the system menu and try to reinstall lilo with it.
