I just got the most recent VLC from sourcery but when i go to upgrade the system it wants to upgrade VLC. But the upgrade is really a downgrade to the version in slapt-get. Just wondering how i would go about blacklisting the older version. Using AMD64 ratpoison.

Add to the end of the EXCLUDE line in /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc.
